Day1 Cochin - Munnar: You will get a warm welcome in Traditional Indian style by Kerala Tour Holidays executive at Cochin Airport. On your arrival at Kochi international Airport, meet our representative to greet and pick up you. Thereafter you will drive to Munnar - “The Green Paradise of Kerala” with never ending broadens of tea plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. Check in your hill resort/hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 02:- Munnar Begin morning with delicious breakfast and then get ready for a sightseeing tour or to explore the gilts and glamour of Munnar Tea Plantations Kerala, its Mattupetty Lake and Dam – a wonderful spot for viewing the scenery of Munnar, TATA Tea Museum and Factory, Tea Plantations and many more which offers a unique appearance and get floored you in Munnar!!!. In after noon you can visit Eravikulam National park; where you can find the endangered Nilgiri Tahr (ibex), submissive and friendly, a rare animal that you see the large numbers only in this area. Later drive back to your hill resort/hotel and spend the rest of the day is at relaxation or you may also Witness varities of spices at spice garden in the evening. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day3: Thekkady After breakfast, get ready to drive your next destination or a glimpse of wildlife in a close range. Thekkady, eminent as the “Wildlife destination of Kerala” or “Spice bag of Kerala” has unique and abundantly rich with flora and fauna. Before to reach this jungle destination its scenic landscapes, backwater attractions and the serene atmosphere mesmerize you much!!!Our executive will attend to check in your hotel/resort and later refreshing go for an optional Kathakali show, spice plantation visit, elephant ride. You also have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve and will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc. are roaming the both shore. Apart from this, the destination has various other opportunities such as trekking, wildlife train, bamboo rafting, border hiking and rock climbing. Later return to hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day4: Madurai Drive to Madurai.This morning proceed to visit renowned Hindu Temple of Madurai, Meenaksha Amman Temple dedicated to Goddess Parvati, known as Meenakshi and her consort Shiva, here named Sundareshwarar. Followed by Visit of Thurumalai Nayak Palace. This Palace is a classic fusion of Dravidian; Islamic styles.Post dinner attends evening tradition of Meenakshi Temple known as Night ceremony. During ceremony palanquin of god Shiva would be carried in a palanquin from his shrine to his residing place.
Day5: Madurai - Rameshwaram After an early morning breakfast we checkout from the hotel and head towards Rameshwaram. On arrival, you are escorted to a pre-booked hotel for rest and refreshment. We then visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama. This is one of the seven places in India where pilgrims pray for salvation. The place is unique with 22 holy springs and the longest corridor in India. Our next visit is to the five faced Hanuman Temple. The temple also has a floating stone outside the temple exhibiting the famous stories from the Great Indian spic, Ramayana. There is an overnight stay at Rameshwaram.
Day6: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari Today after breakfast we checkout from the hotel and drive to Kanyakumari. After reaching Kanyakumari you check in a pre-booked hotel and rest for some time. Our visit is to the Sri Kumari Amman Temple. Our next visit is to the Thiruvalluvar Statue; 133 feet in height. The 38 feet, three tier pedestal of the statue represents 38 chapters in the Book of Aram. We end our exploration with a visit to the miraculous confluence of the three seas; Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal. The Vivekananda Memorial, located at the heart of this confluence is a pilgrimage for all the stressed hearts seeking for some respite and solace. After enjoying a pleasant boat ride around the place, we return to the hotel for night stay.
Day7: Kanyakumari - Kovalam Today after breakfast we checkout from the hotel and drive to Move Kovalam Clear the festoons to journey further towards your next destination, Kovalam after a delectable breakfast on houseboat. After driving for 176 kms, you’ll land at a one of the most sought beach destination of Kerala; ideal for swimming, sunbathing, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmers and catamaran cruising. Check-in into hotel/resort and rest of the day free at leisure or on the beach of Kovalam and enjoy the scene of Arabian waves embracing virgin sands. Overnight stay at hotel/resort, Kovalam.
Day8: Alleppey - Kochi After the breakfast, you will move towards Alleppey and enjoy Kerala Houseboat Tour. Spent your fifth day on an unequivocally the hottest backwater town “Alleppey” which is famous for the traditional houseboat called the Kettuvalam/Cruise. Check into houseboat after arrival. Beside the natural allures of this town, Theen chanting cruise/traditional houseboat experience across Alleppey will be an experience of a lifetime..
Day9: KochiAfter breakfast disembark from the houseboat and our agent drop off at Kochi (Cochin) Airport/Railway Station to connect flight/train for onward journey.
